One of the best of a proud tradition of musicians making guest apperances on Sesame Street. Particular delights include band members clowning around with muppets, the questionable sobriety of anyone involved, and the comically bipolar nature of this collection of muppets (note Peter Buck’s counterpart yelling: “I AM SO SAD!”).
…at this point, if you’re still having a bad day, there’s not much more YouTube can do for you.
I wonder if they offered Kate Pierson the chance to appear in person, or to have a muppet made in her likeness (see: Billy Idol’s muppet in “Rebel L”).
Why have I not seen this before? Too funny.
